How long does it take you to warm up your engine?

Hi guys, just curios to know how long do you run your truck till it reaches a good operating temp? I use half a tank!

Couple of minutes at most....

Usually I let it idle for a full minute, then, blip the throttle for 30 seconds on and off, then gooooooooooo!

Iff mine takes half a tank then a gather its too Rich? for half tank warm up?

I would say so. Lean the low speed needle a little bit.

LSN? I will try that. She does idle a bit lower when hot compared to when I start her. She also takes about 4 meters to clear fuel build up in the crank case after idling for about 15 secs.

Adjust it just 1/16 of a turn at a time. For our metric friends the exact conversion is:

Just an itsy-bitsy-teney-weenie little bit at a time.

try giving the HSN a 1/8 turn also, it shouldn't load up that much.

I udjusted the lsn and it sorted my idling out, she idles nice and strong for more than 30 seconds and when I pulled off she hesitaded a bit, but once cleared she still hesitated on top end so I leaned her out abit on High end. Perfect. I ran3 tanks without hesitation or overheating. Its raining today, tomorrow after work I am going to the track. No more dust our summer has just started for off roading., yeeeeeehaaaa!
