How I belt my tires

It’s all personal preference and this is my preference to belt them like this. Nobody has to belt a tire but if someone did, here’s an idea.

Yup I agree. It's been done lots of times. It is definitely an easier belting technique than going through the hassle of ungluing, taping inside for the "belt" and then glue them back up. Especially now that premounted tires are more common.

You can’t get these badlands in 2.8 size that are not pre mounted. That’s why I do it this way, among other reasons.

Yeah they are probably becoming the tire tread now. Too thick perhaps.

The thinner thread works nicely
