hey how high have you guys jumped your T-Maxx...cause my friend and I are newbies and we didnt wanna tear anything up on it...

oh yea...we put one of those large clips that go on your shocks on to keep it from bottoming out and it worked...was that a good idea?

I have seen videos of the jumping over 2 cars and probally reaching up to 25 feet in the air and land on all fours and keep on going but who know how many times they broke something lol before they got it right for the video

If u do a search u will find a another thread about jumping I have seen up to 30 ft but i know their are people who have gone higher.
I saw a mag artical where some one jumped a 1 story garage with a buggy and broke a front a-arm

I've jumped about 5-7 ft but I have also jumped off my house never broke anything. One day I was jumping my ditch and blew a shock cap off but I landed on my front left tire it was pretty cool watching the oil blow al over the the inside but it was a pain cleaning it.

You don't want to be doing any major jumping in the winter, unless you're landing it in deep snow banks. When it's cold out, parts that flex and come back for more in the summer, now are very brittle.

I jumped a stop sign prob 10 to 15 times one after another, i broked after awhile cause not all the time i landed on my 4 wheels, i was running one of those cages that they sell at ebay for $20 bucks and it held up really good, the only prob is that its bolt it to the bulkheads so landing on it broke my bulkheads, also broke a lower a-arm etc.
the main thing its to land on all 4 wheels.
but the tmaxx does brake a lot, so i said screw this and went savage for bashing.

If you want to see some cool videos of T-Maxx trucks jumpimg check out www.beatyourtruck.com there are some trucks doing insane jumps and some actully live to bash some more lol

cool, ill check out those videos...all my friend broke was the plastic piece that goes on the metal bar that goes down to the back tire...(the one that you can adjust to align the tirea)...but its now replaced.

Rod End = the plastic piece that goes on the metal bar that goes down to the back tire... :)

Turnbuckle = the metal bar that goes down to the back tire...
:)

5 feet, I didnt bash it.

NOW.. Onto my buggy haha, I Think it was a 25 ft. High Jump, About 20 feet? Look in my gallery.

I launch mine off tripples, table tops, doubles etc. off my motocross track in my back fields. Over the garage, into the garage trying to go over it. Into the fence tryin to clear it.

man my old maxx has been through some rough times.

now that I just got a All Aluminum Maxx , I'm almost affraid to try for Over the garage with it. I bend a Alum A-Arm I'm done for. If I do bend em I think I'll put some RPM arms back on it. You can't beat RPMs warrenty.
