how good is a m-16(megatech motor) for my t-maxx

I just bought 2 t-maxx and one has a m-16 motor from megatech. Seems to run good, but I can't find a hobby store around that carries megatech. I can order online but I think its about 5 years old or more. Anyway if there is something out their that might be better let me know. Not looking for complete horse power, I run for fun. So something mild or should I go back to stock. Thank for the help
 
I wouldn't waste the money on aniother megatech motor....the OS .18 is where I'd look...if you are already set up for a rotary carb link there is one .18 from OS that is fairly cheap (about 100)and will give you plenty of HP....the drop in .18 is a bit pricey at over 250
 
I agree with Plaidfish. The MegaTech is more than likely built to be supported in their own cars and trucks. You'd be better off spending that much more money on a good, reliable engine that drops right in to the Maxx.
