That's absolutely correct. You'll see the fuel running through the line. Take your finger off the pipe as soon as the fuel reaches the carb, or you can flood it. You don't have to do this every time you start it, only when you have run out of fuel, and need to prime the line.
I converted my 3.3 over to the Roto Start and glow igniter system. Works like a charm..... I do have a Tiger Drive on my RC10GT, but don't like it as much as the RotoStart.
