Hey guys,

Well I got my RRP Performance Break kit last week from an LHS.

I payed full boat retail @ $36.00 and wasn't impressed with the actual materials you get for that price. THe disc seems to be light and if the kit decreases break fade overall and reduces the "Wobble" then I'll be happy. I was a little pissed that they charge like $5.50 for one set of tiny little break bads (what's that 3 cents worth of materials?) but if the kit performs well then I'll be happy.

So,

What did you guys use to attach the break pads?? How well does it perform for you and How long do those pads last roughly??

Thanks and Peace

use a glue to attach the pads. The brake kit is awesome! I can adjust the brakes to make my truck flip if I want to. Worth every penny!

I was just curious if anyone knew of a specific adhesive that would work well but would also be easy to come off when it's time to replace the pads.

You can also make your brakes stiff if you desire with more fuel hose in your linkage.

Peace

My bad, Your work already told me that.

I think the RRP Brake is gonna be nice. The Stock Traxxas break just isn't cutting the mustard during hard racing. Way to much break fade and using the carbon fiber disc cause radio problems.

THanks dude. I got some chit for your E-Maxx project that you might be interested in. Nice custom titanium chit to be exact. I'll give ya first dibs on it for trade or sale.

Peace

Hey I forgot to add that if you want longer brake pad life you and you dont want brake dragging insert small springs in between the brake calipers on the mounting bolts. Not only does this stop brake drag but you get longer brake life!

Sound good dude. I might just do that and thanks for the tip man. You just have to tweak your system for the application but during hard dirt races with friends the stock break system doesn't perform right for me regardless of tweaking.

Peace

heck ya I'm all for titanium
if you ever do run stock brakes again never get fuel on it its like soap on ice
I'm at work tue wed thr 3-6 so if you wanna swing by I'm definatley intrested in anything titanium for an e-maxx (it needs it0
