Hey guys, I was wondering how some of you guys like to have you suspensions setup. Saying that I mean do you like it stiff or light, kinda stuff like that.
Just wondering how you guys setup for play running and serious racing.
Thanks for any info.
Peter

I dont do serious racing....but...I drive like I do.

I set the suspension based on how I drive. (or at least try to constanty get the car to do things its not meant to do). The goal is getting understeer, oversteer, drift, fade, all while on or off power, all in perfect harmony.

Overall I would say a medium/stiff suspension. Probably right in the middle of the two.

i just do factory setup and set the shocks enough so they chassis doesn't scrape. I don't race and I don't turn much, i'm just a top speed kinda guy

I race almost every week, so suspension is important to me. I run factory springs on my NTC3, with 5mm ride height up front, and 4mm in the rear. i also run 4mm of droop in the front and 3mm in the rear. this allows me to be as soft as possible without bottoming out. contrary to 1:1 cars, the softer setup allows me to grip the corners better, even though i get some body roll. Turn in and turn out is very important to me, so i run 2degrees of camber in the front. my acceleration suffers abit, but i can corner better. Also run 1degree of toe out in the front, and 2degrees of toe in at the rear. hope that helps. oh, and i run 55weight oil all around.

Hey guys, thanks for all the replies. I have mine set-up for racing. Mine is pretty much same as nitro's.
Thanks a lot guys for the replies
Peter
