how do i make my duratrax evader run faster?

my duratrax evader is slow as crap and i dont know much about electric rc but i was thinking about upgrading the motor. it has a photon speed 20x1 motor and i want the best bang for the buck motor i can get. i was looking at this http://cgi.ebay.com/Reedy-PT-12T-Do...trkparms=65:12|66:2|39:1|72:1205|293:1|294:50 but does anyone know if it will fit or what my other options would be. thanks

witch evader do you have? lets start there there not all the same and some wont handle much more then the stock setup

If you want the electric rc to go faster, you need a brushless setup with lipo batteries. Can't get any faster then that.

yeah but if he has a ext it wont hold up to the power and i see brushlees losing at the track to better drivers with older rigs i mean dont get me wrong i have a brushless evader and it's to fast to control but it took a lot of money and a tone of up grades to get the truck to hold up and i started with the st witch is a hole lot better truck then the ext and it's all about the battiers you use if your running some cheap 1500 or 1800mAh packs go out and buy a 3000 or 3200mah matched cell pack that right there well bring your truck to life

You can also change your spur and pinion gears to get more speed

First of all what type of ESC are you running? What model Evader are you running? What type and how many cells are battery packs? Is the drivetrain stock? With a little more information we can help you better.
