How do i change my T-maxx 2.5 carb

Can anyone tell me how to go about replacing the carb on my engine? is it just the nut at the base of the of the carb or is it a bit more technical than that?

That's all there is to it. Just loosen that nut, remove linkage and fuel line, and give it a lift (you may have to give it a slight twisting motion as you lift). When replacing the carb back into the intake, make sure it's firmly seated, and all required o-rings are in place. Also make sure not to get any dirt in the opening, and the nut is firmly tightened.

Thanks for the quick reply, thats a great help as there is no proper instructions in the manual..... need to get my beast back up and running!!

Press down on the carb neck really hard while you tighten the nut. That will ensure a good seal onthe O-ring. You might also want to seal it with red RTV.
