I want to remove the purple paint off the engines cooling head beacause clean alli works better as a heat conductor! Will paint stripper work? or oven cleaner?

Usually to remove anodizing, people use Easy-Off. Hold on----Eddy had a great thread. Let me find it....

I removed the paint with with paint remover(duh). Then cleaned it off with a wire brush. I polished the head with brasso so its nice and shiny. Looks cool. I will test temp when I run the truck..
That paint must restrict cooling I think!
