hotbodies lightning problems

hello folks have a bit of problem got my hotbodies truggy out today and it will only run about half tank thru then it leans out and cuts off like the tank is empty fill it up runs fine to half tank then the same what could be causing this ?

Have a look in the tank. Is the fuel line sucking off the bottom of the tank?

yes and the cap seems to be sealing was wondering if it could have something to do with the length of the fuel line replaced it last year and don't remember running it after that should the they be a certain length
