Well, I just rolled the dice and picked up a HB 26. Got it for $145, figured it was worth the gamble. Never had a HB engine before.

Didn't find anything on this engine here, so here's my :2cents:

-I had to shorten the crank about 1/8" to fit my XTM maxx chassis. Used a carbon disc in the ol' Dremel. Easier than I feared.
-3x8 screw with washer to hold the CB on the crank.
-Easy break-in sow far. Loosened the glow plug 45 degrees, 3 pulls and it fired right up (tightened the plug back up right after it started of course).
-Fast idled to get temp to 190. Lowered idle and it held at 195.

O'Donnell Racing fuel - 20% with 4oz castor added to gallon.
R3 - Stock plug. It's an HPI plug. I don't know why it was in this engine. Do you?

Will do! I didn't have much luck with my 21 OS RG. Blew two con-rods and Olds97_lss broke a cronk in two. All three were under 2 gallons too.

I expect it to be a good engine, I just hope the claimed 2.6hp won't rip my trans apart.

The HB .26 is running strong! I've gotten it broken innow, and the temp runs about 240 after WOT through 4" grass.
I'm running with an OS 8 plug now (the R3 died on me, not sure why).
