I have a Rustler w/ 2.5 and today it was running really hot, 280-300 degrees, is this normal running temp? How much fuel line should I have? (length)with the HSN 3 full turns out the truck ran great, could not keep the front wheels on the ground, Dont remember what factory setting were, am I to rich?

The manual for the 2.5 says anthing over 270 would be overheating, I usually run my 2.5 right around 240-250. The lenght of the fuel line isn't that big of a deal, and the stock settings for the 2.5 are to set the low-speed needle so that the screw head is flush with the end of the slide, and the high-speed needle to 4 turns out from closed.

At only 3 turns out you are probably a little on the lean side i would be closer to 4 turns out as said above. That would also explain your temps.

if it sounds right and there's a good amount of smoke ocming form the exhaust, chances are you're fine. tune by performance, not by heat (unless you're at like 300+)
