I haven't done alot of testing, so I'll come out with my stupid question:

I know a hotter plug will advance the timing on an engine, but: Will a hot glow plug (like the OS A3) generally make the engine run a higher temperature as well? (than say an #8 or A5)

thanks,
Silent

yes. i run a cooler plug in the summer vs. the winter.

I use a hot plug year round.

I use them because they do not tend to "flame out" as easily with higher oil content fuels and they allow me to run richer neeclle settings and still make good power on 20%.

Cold plugs help cure detonation problems when running 25% or higher Nitro Content.
