my t maxx is running way to hot.... burning up those glow plugs... tried adjusting the hsn but then it doesn't shift into 2nd gear.. i'm sorta new at this hobby.. any help.. thanks

First off is this truck new? Second if yes, is the engine still being broken in? What plug are you using and what fuel? Do you have a temp gauge?

First off welcome to RCNT.

I think that your problem is not with your HSN I think your LSN is too lean. Richen it up 1/2 turn and see how it goes.

VB caught that.

Welcome to the forum !!! Your TMAXX is very popular among the questions being asked. VB also has a point with the LSN. BUT if your IDLE isn't set right then tuning will be off still. Let us know on the needles.!

You should get a failsafe to prevent this from happening again. It is cheap insurance.

UPDATE: got my integrety bulkheads one word...... AMESOME waitin for rpm arms and some shocks

I broke my integy bulkheads without trying. I was just jumping, and snap... wow, what a waste of money.

One other upgrade you might want to consider is a 2300MAH battery pack from onlybatterypacks.com I got one and it powers my high torque servo like butter and it lasts 10 hours before needing a recharge.

You might want to consider running a Medium Glow plug as well. I was using the heavy duty ones cause the truck starts better but it also runs hotter. I would richen your high speed needle about 1/8 turn counter clockwise.
