For u guys that watch Powerblock tv on spike tv i got a question for u. On the Powerblock tv show, they had the project Honda. The one episode they were putting on a cold air intake that was huge. The filter assembly was square and it went behind the front bumper. I'm looking for maybe the name of the Filter or something. I have looked all over and couldnt find it. went to the horsepowertv web site and they only show the showes from 2005.

it wasn't, but they later pulled it b/c their dressup kit got in the way. that was a total crap rice buildup.

The build up wasn't bad until they put that ugly ass front bumper. The car made good power when they were done. Although, I personally didn't care much for the intake they put on.

body kits dont belong on cars... there are very few cases where I've seen one that is actaully worth it...

i thought they trimmed the front bumper so it would fit? I'm just wondering where i can get it, because I believe it would fit perfectly behind my front bumper body kit. If i could get some dimensions.

some body kits on some cars make them look better stylishly and make them look more agressive. Plus who wants stock? For example... a stock Honda CRX vs. a 12 piece body kit.

IMO the body kit looks better

ricer rear wing taller than the car, still seafoam green big wheels ghetto springs and....

NAWWWWZZZZZZ!!!!

they put 10k into that car and its still slower than my focus

I'm with you Maxx. I had a 97 eclipse and I didn't like the front end it just curled under the car along with the back bumper, so I put a blitz kit all the way round and it changed the who look of the car. It was a much much more aggressive look.

i dont know if you guys care but I'm 15 and have been building cars as my other hobby for about 5 years now. In My opinion a K&N or Fram Air hog are one of the best filters on the market. If i were you and i had a honda i would get a K&N b/c it improves gas millage if you want even better gas milage and even a bit of performance get exhuast.

- Cody - :boxing:

O Yeah the look of that red rice poop ( i dont know what it is ) but it looks like my little sisters toy or sumthing

Cody-I've been working on cars since i've been 8. Sure I didnt start the good stuff till about 11, But i'm into cars alot. I hear yah. Now, K&N Would get my vote. Honda wise, I'd leave it stock for the time being, Save up and K20 It. N/A, Not forced induction.

Trooper, That kit looks like poop, Very ugly. The stock looks good I think.

I personally don't care for body kits, unless it has been designed to be more aerodynamic than stock. I know Mugen and Do-Luck body kits are built that way. But most body kits are just for show. I'd rather spend $1000 on my suspension and make my car handle better, than spend a $1000 on it and make it look nice.

As far as air filters and better gas mileage, it depends on the change to the way your car makes power, and how your ECU handles the change (if you're fuel injected). Cold air intakes bump up the top end, but the bottom end will suffer. That means less torque, which means more RPM to get ya moving, which means, worse gas mileage. Although for the most part, you probably won't notice it.

I'm sorry but if i saw someone driving that crx down the street i would laugh at them.

What about the body kit on the front of this car?? You guys like it or not??

http://www8.epochtimes.com/i5/403101807822.jpg

Reason I ask is this is my dads car, not that exact one, but he has the same model. I absolutely love the body kit on his car and man is that thing a blast to drive. 6-Speed Standard + 300 HP = A blast to drive.

Dude i see those built rice rocket's i guess everybody think's there cool, I think honda's suck along with nissan except the skyline.

It all comes down to opinion, if you like it you like it and if you don't you don't. You guys shouldn't be flaming Maxx Trooper, just say you like it or you don't. Comments like "If I saw that car driving down the street I would laugh at them" there is really no need for that. I happen to like that kit and from was said you guys don't. I happen to think the big crome bumper on an old muscle car is ugly as hell, but thats just my opinion.

I have a brand new K&N cone shaped filter for my '93 Ford Probe and the garage where i was gettin work done on it said that "The K&N filter would decrease air flow, losing performance. Stock is better." So I left the stock on and the K&N is sittin in the box, $40 + sittin in a box. Anyone got an opinion on that, should I leave the stock set up there or put the K&N on?

As far as the body kits go, everyone has there own opinion and I respect that. Personally I like to change stuff from stock. I dont like stock lookin cars, well some of them. Like the new 05 Ford Mustang, that looks awsome, no body kit for that. Now a Chevy Cobalt doesn't look too bad stock, but a body kit on that would make it look agressive, along with a carbon fiber hood with a scoop.

maxx trooper,
you see the thing about K&N filters is that they do show an increase in performance when their clean. but with the environment that we live in wiht the salt on the roads for winter and all that stuff it really wont help because it would get dirty really fast.** edit: that stuff is meant for places where theres no winter weather.

So if i was to switch in the K&N in the spring and run that till winter then switch the stock back in that would work. Isnt there covers and crap u can get for the filter too?

later

yea there no salt and crap out there then its fine... a cover would restrict air to a point IMO it should be fine if you do that.
