Wow.
Haven't even DRIVEN with these newly painted bodies and already cracks in them!
Ill stick with JConcepts or LFR for now on. Learned my lesson.

You should try to smooth your edges better. Any little jaggies in the cut will create stress points and be an easy place for cracks to happen. After cutting, run some 320 grit sandpaper around it.

Put you a strip of drywall tape around that nose and shoe goo it. It'll be just fine. But smooth those edges out after you do.

It's like with any body that has sharp internal corners in the trim line. I leave those rounded but cutting shy of the corner, then I dress it in gently with a round needle file.
