I've been wanting to put some windows on the Baja but just couldn't see spending that kind of coin on some prefabs so I'm doing what I must and building my own. Problem is is with that kind of time in them they're going to be worth way more to me then the expensive prefabs. Just got a little lexan and some cabe ties from the Depot. This is just a little teaser, I'll post the finished product later.

First up some slight mods to the stand!

And for the windows! So far I've got the front and right side.

Here's the finished job! Well kind of, I think I might paint them with some transparent orange or red or tent them. Up in the air still.

The rear windows will just be for looks. I don't think they will stay under my driving conditions.

Some light tint in either gray or a good color to go with the body, and some decals, very impressive work nicely done

Thanks fellas! I had to do something with it since I'm trying to keep her clean till I leave the desert. Still got finished with a couple of hours of sunlight left.

Totally OT but I am suprised your not having any problems with your ps3 that close to the carpet.

It's an 8x10 sheet from Home Depot and it's just a hair under 1/16 thick. I'd give you a better measurement if I had better tools.lol I'm curious to see how well it'll hold up as they do make thicker stuff.

@ Charlie, how did you get the patterns for your cutouts? They are very precise and angle matching & look VERY factory. Ty

Measure twice, cut once! jk I just held the lexan up there and traced it out, used a straight edge to do the cuts and Dremel to buzz the corners. On the 4 side windows, I just got the first one good and replicated.
