Hi guys. A while ago I put the question out on the opinion of the Team Associated GT 8.0 Monster. Most people thought it was worth a shot but not being real thick on the ground in Aus, (in fact most people I contacted had no idea. We are a bit slow) I jumped online and found Tower Hobbies, in Champaign IL. I purchased the GT 8.0 and had it here in Western Australia 5 working days later! 5 DAYS. Incredible! Not only that it only cost $780 USD delivered. Thats about $850 AUD but it will retail here for an average of around $1100.
Anyway hats off to the good people at Tower Hobbies. You made a friend and very much returning customer in me. Thanks:yes:

Towerhobbies rocks. My dad used is some 25 years ago when he was my age and now i use it. Very nice site and really reliable.

One thing that I have come to realize is that when tower runs a sale, it's a SALE. I find it very important to shop around even when I buy stuff on ebay, because tower has such good prices that cause other retail shops to lower their prices, so a lot of the time when I find a good deal on ebay and then check around and find an even better deal at Tower or another site. For example, I bought a Savage last week and I figured that a retail store would be kinda expensive when it came to buying something big like a complete store, but Tower had them rediculously cheap in comparison with their competition, and they were less than some of the ebay stores. It's important to ALWAYS check Tower first!

I saw something about how stuff is more expensive in Australia then US, but they were comparing Mac prices. Probably the same with everything. Towers is the best.

Tower is a great resource.

Just always remember the coupon codes they have available.
