I'm looking to find parts and upgrades people have made on their own. I'm a basher-on-a-budget so upgrades don't come by too often. This might also help me with some new ideas.

Things I have made:
6V NiMh RX pack
added - charging plug on my Traxxas 3Ch TX
mounting plate for my RX switch
modded my EZ start system to be a glow ignitor only
(popular mod) quick disconnect shocks

Planning on:
Fulll Center skid plate made from sheet metal.

You need to talk with the master of invention, M@xxmillion. He has made all kinds of stuff and is a great source of ideas for more "homegrown" stuff.

Mmmm.....homegrown stuff.....:smoke:

Good ideas. M@xx has a lot of great plans. I haven't seen anything from him in a bit, but I am anxious to see what bubbles up on this post...

Lets just say that I do have something bubbling up that is going to flip your wigs! I can't say yet, but lets just say it's revolutionary;)

Most of the vets here have seen my:
Remote starting system ( still testing)
The quick release plugs for the ez start.
The pre-heat switch for the ez start
The custom SS window screens for optimal cooling
My stand
The Charger plug for the TQ3, did you get the idea from me DR? just wondering.
I really love to see homegrown mods.

One of the easiest and beneficial mods I've seen was the Tmaxx Brake springs.. I've been running them since I bought my Maxx over a year ago... They work great... No drag at all....
Here's the article
P.S. Ballpoint pen springs work great.. Just cut to length...

I agree. I did the brake spring mod a while ago and it really keeps nice smooth braking. And it's easy, too...

That is definately a great low dough mod. I did that quite a while ago, it was well worth the time to do it. I used the ball point pen springs myself, they work perfect.

Yaknow, I might have gotten the charger plug idea from you. Do you have a webpage with instructions??

I'd like to see the EZ Start quick release plugs. :)
