I'm sure I'm going to get flamed even for thinking it, but has anyone ran FAI fuel? I've been researching it and have read allot that a 85/15 mix of methanol/castor can work well in RC engines. Has anyone tried running this, is it as easy as it sounds and is it really ok to run in these engines? I trust you guys to help me out here and not to rant to much. Just please be kind with the remarks, I'm simply curious. Thanks.

i never ran that fuel before i mostly get nitrotane or power master
i would consider those 2

I've heard of the nitrotane but not the Power Master. I'll have to look that up then. I'm just on a education kick I guess you could say. Checking all the types of fuels ect that can be run. Thanks.

Power master has been around a long time, have you had good luck with it GH Racing?

As for FAI fuel, I may have to try it, I'm all for running my truck cheaper. I can get methanol at the local drastrip a lot cheaper than nitro fuel, but where to find a good grade of castor oil?

Or you can check out Sig. Use the menu on the left and choose Field Equipment --> Fuel Ingredients --> Fuel Oil.
