Hpi went crazy with savage/savage x upgrades with wheels and tires... all of wich are smoking.

The only bummer is some wheels are 17mm so i'll need to spend a ton on the 17mm hex conversion

I can see it now....Black "Blast" Wheels mounted on "Goliath" tires.... ahhh yes...

Yep thats all you'll need to run em, is what digger linked to.

Some pretty sweet wheels/tires. I like the look of the blast wheels with Phaltline tires for some onroad driving.

awesome thanks digger

i thought i needed this:

i actually like the look of the blast and phaltline much better than the blast and goliath. Will the blast fit wheels of ather companies such as proline. I did some measurement conversions last night and i think they might fit a proline masher. Anyone think the blast will fit anything else?

i would get the phaltline and blast but how well would it hold up in some grass and dirt/mulch?

Those are better hexes, but you don't need them to run those wheels.

The Phaltline don't look like they would be too good in the grass/dirt, but I do like how they look.

FYI- If you pick up the HPI 17mm conversion, watch for excess play between the hub and stub axle. I had to switch out the purple hubs for a set from the Mugen MBX5 to mimize this. And as any 1/8th buggy racer will tell you, threadlock is your friend. The wheel nuts love to fly off of the left side wheels.

I am working on a 17 mm conversion that will only run about 20 bucks or so for everything. should have all the parts here by Saturday and then I can get it going and see how it works.
