hey, i was just wondering if there was anyone here from hollister? i just got a truck dont know anyone else that has one. i know there are a few people frome sanjose and thats about an hour north of here, but if anyone is in hollister or gilroy hit me up.

When we go out we drive down to the Dunn av exit on 101 and play out in a dirt field. That is about as far south towards you as we go. Can you go out to Hollister Hills OHV Park and drive around, or will they kick you off?

I'm always up there in my truck and i have been thinking about taking it up there. the only problem is that it wouldnt be quite as much fun if i was the only one there with an rc truck

If you two are getting together in Hollister let me know. I might drive down, it all depends on what day and time. Sundays are usually good for me. I drive a 8T. I am also about an hour. More like 45 minutes. It would be cool to meet you guys.

i have only had my rc for about a week or so and it has only been driving for about half of that. right now its in two pieces, but should be back together before the weekend.
i dont know of any tracks or anything, but there is lots of open fields and stuff here. hell, maybe one of you can help tune my carb lol
I'm off every friday sat and sun.... and every other monday, so I'm free all weekend, but the wife and kids take a lot of that time. thats why I'm looking for people near hollister

Aren't you in San Jose? That is pretty far from where we are...unless you drive super fast.LOL

I live in South San Jose right where Hwy 85 and 101 meet. I use to drive down to Hollister Hills OHV Park all the time, It is not that far, it only takes about 45 minutes driving around 70 mph. Sounds like you are farther away Jon2. 
I know what you mean about trying to get away, I have 4 kids! I have a great wife who lets me get away 1 day a week, usually.

well i hope we can all get together soon, but just keep in mind.... my entire R/C experience is a total of like 1 week lol. so if i ask some dumb questions or can't drive for crap I'm gonna use that as an excuse
