Are any serious precautions a person should take when running in water with holes in the trucks body? Because i think my esc and motors are geeting to hot and i want to cut some holes in the body to get some air flow but i also like to run in water and I'm not sure how much water the motors can take without quiting. I need help with this.

I think he has a E Maxx and is talking about the esc and the electric motor, if this is the case I would not recommend driving it in the water unless it is the comlpetly stock 16.8 volt version which has seald electronics, water and elctronics do not mix, the only thing you could some what safely do would be shallow low speed water crossings if it is the older model E Maxx...

I know the esc and the servos are waterproof but are the motors waterproof?
That is what I'm concerned about because I'm cuting the holes in the side of the body and I'm not sure if the motors are waterproof in this 16.8v version?

I wouldnt drive it through a swimming pool, like i have seen someone do before with no problems, but water splashing over a motor should be no problem.

Yea...that makes since. So if it storms and theres a puddle like 3 inches deep and i goe through it slowly with holes in the body the motors wont break?

GREAT! I HOPE WE I HAVE A FREGIN RAIN STROM SOON. GONNA DRIVE THROUGH SOME FREGIN WATER!
Thanks for the help;)
