Hey guys just want your opinion on this brushless truck. I'm trying to get back into this hobby for under $200, I already have a tx and rx from my old RC10T but I dont want to get a poor quality truck or car like those being offerd at exceed rc. This truck is offered at 159.99 with everything minus the radio and receiver, there is a video review here: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KqAxXiouag"]YouTube - HK Trooper 1/10th Brushless SCT[/ame] Maybe I should just bring back my RC10T? Anyway any advice would be great thanks.

Well after watching the video and taking a look, it seems to be ok for the money, how ever it is one of those you get what you pay for things, all of the parts look to be made out of a fairly cheap material, the other down fall is the only place to get parts for it will be from hobby king. but at least they appear to stock all the parts for it. JMO...

I would stay clear of HK long shipping times took them over 1 1/2 weeks just to process my order i ended up canceling it....HK isnt bad if you dont mind the wait i guess might order some lipos from them to get ready for my brushless build.....I would probably buy something used ( Traxxas Ofna HPI or Team Associated) in that price range before buying this truck only for replacement part purposes. Look around on ebay usually some good stuff at fair prices on there or craigslist but shop local on CL within driving distance. JMO though

I don't think shipping time will be to bad since it is coming from the USA warehouse, but it appears that all the spare parts would come from Hong Kong.

Ya the only time you will be waiting on shipping is when you order from out of the U.S, other wise if you order from a U.S warehouse you should receive it within 3-5 days.

I never mind any sort of prolonged shipping because I am super happy in the end, even though it took HK nearly a month to get 2 battery packs and a lipo charger to me, but that was over the xmas holidays so I forgive those little asian people :D

Pretty amusing action part of the video, the rock roosting onto the onboard rig is funny! "Stop pounding my body with rocks!" AHHHH lol I'm an idiot :D

Also those tires look like 1.9 Proline Flat Irons... Hmmm
