  1. Bashing
Hey guys, my mate has this car and he needs some info about it and needs help choosing a new engine for it because the piston sleeve broke in his current engine. Any help would be appreciated.

why does he just replace the sleeve and the piston in to it instead of buying a new engine, unless everything is damaged

Yeh thats the one he wants a different engine instead of the hyper it comes with just wondering what you guys think would go in perfect i was thinking a XTM 24.7 would be a nice cheap powerful engine to fit right in there. Any other replies?

hb111, thats not the point. I would recommendthe XTM 24.7 or maybe even the pro model. The XTMs are good cheap engines that have alot of low-end torque. Very good engine for bashing. If he would like to go bigger i would recommend the OFNA Picco .26 or Team Orion Wasp .26 (same engine). If I could pick between them I would choose the XTM 24.7 Pro.

if I'm going to recommend a engine to someone i want to know what its going in, not just name all the .26's no body likes wiseguys btw i can ask what ever i want reguardless of the point!!!

yep its a monster pirate i wonder why they call it that there?here a link to a monster pirate http://www.hobbytron.net/monster-pirate-rtr.html
i have 2 monster pirates i have a os rzv01b in one of them and it totaly kicks ass although it is a bump start,i would run a a picco .26 or a werks .26 they are basicly the same except for the porting

I'd have to say go with the XTM 24.7, or the 24.7 pro. Both have insane low end power, and if you surf ebay you can get a new 24.7 for under $100. I got mine for $75 shipped and it was brand new with the plastic still on the box!
