Hi guys, I have a savage and today at the track all of a sudden I had no steering! Upon looking things over the Hitec645 servo had sucked down a fully chaged hump pack in about three tanks! When holding the servo in your hands you can turn it but it is REALLY tight. So I took it apart looking for a bad gear or something, nothing, it all looks good. But when I put it back together it's tight again. So I left it all apart and hooked the batt. up to it and the circuit board got so hot in a minute you could not touch it!! What give? Did I smoke it or what? How well does Hitec stand behind there products? I do have the stock throttle servo, how well will that work for the steering, for a back up? Thanks for your time and help!!!!!! Pee Wee

Well CRAP. I hope that was just a freak happening, I just got 2 of those yesterday.

Same thing happened to mine, it was 5 mo. old. Got a 200 in. oz airtronics for the buggy now.
