Damn rollin that thing is SICK!! I can't wait to get a scaler in time for spring and snow run-off. Are the 1.55s smaller than the 1.9, and what tires are those, they look so good!

God I want a scaler back in my hands!!

lol! what a coincidence. I was on the fence about buyin the same body. Got a tower email and saw the $25 rebate with free ship. Figured out all the parts that would be needed for this body and ended up buying that and a set of tires. Been looking at my lonely bruiser chassis thats been sitting for years and thinking of building a hybrid scaler of some sort. But of course this is all after considering a few different trucks, axles, wheels, tires etc. Until today which was when I made my final decision with holding onto my bruiser chassis. I planned on 1.55's as well.
I wasn't diggin the shortened bed till I saw your post today. Might give that a try. I hardly come on the site much. Always forget about it. Then boomed surfed thru tonight and found your thread. lol! I was surprised someone else was doing the same thing I had planned.
Your bruiser chassis is spotless. Very shiny. I need to clean mine up. Where did you get the interior? Or is it a vintage (salty priced) one? I suppose with the release of the new bruiser they should be alot cheaper to buy. What did Chris(R.E.) charge ya for the drop bed?

the interior i been having for a few years pick it up when it was alot cheaper and the drop bed i got from rcc classifieds for i think 40 bucks

I've always like the bod bed but i wish i wouldnt have cut as much off as i did cuz i have to cut about 1/4 off the chassis

havent touched it in days but i got the body mounted and I'm gonna suck it up and buy the yota scale axles in the next few days

thanks for the kind words guys its gonna be a slow build but its coming alone

Guess Ill have to see what the main site has em listed for then(the drop bed). Or hit chris up in a pm on scale4x4.
Thanks for the tip on the bob bed. Ill keep that in mind to watch out for the chassis rails.
Yea those yota axles are sweet. I was eyeballing them up on a bruiseruptor but a sale fell thru and had to pass. I did a review on those axles last night and they are awesome from what I read. I was considering the k44's but after hearing how good the yotas are I think they would be a sweet choice.
Keep up the good work. Looking good.

I was thinking on selling the bruiser chassis and the after market transmission I have and just sticking that dough on a new TF2 kit as the yota axles come with it. But I do like to build my own stuff too. Not sure yet.
Ever consider that route as it may be cheaper with the shafts etc.????

oh yeah a TF2 is on the my wishlist for sure been saving money till it comes out

I will be getting the TF2 as soon as I get my bonds cashed into an account! I WILL BE THE FIRST RCNT MEMBER TO OWN ONE! MUAHAHAHA lol

I want one but I'm gettin a 4pl first an get this yota done first which i have some parts coming in soon

Spider you can find that interior at RPP hobby for about $14.00
Sorry I missed your post SMaxxin.
And much thanks for the info. I was searching the last couple days for one like this. I found a member on rcc that has em too. but in black. I think he wants $15 for his. Either at least I have 3 options now.

I just scored a beater yota in a trade. The cab had more colors on it than a rainbow. LOL!
The bed wasn't so much. I am currently stripping the paint off now. Not sure if I want to leave some paint on it or just do a prime job. It did look real cool with the paint stripped off so much. But now I hit some more easy off to it and it looks a bit bare with some good weathering but not as good as yesterdays job. Ill post a thread on it sometime soon. Looking for feedback on it. I got some good ideas on another forum. Just dont know how to do rusting yet. Need more research on that. LOL!

Thats awesome u got a body make sure u post up a built

Should have a update soon got a chino skid an a killer transfer case coming in soon
