So my HSN got stripped. I pulled out the HSN needle and the part around it (the needle, the nipple, and the part that you loosen to move around the nipple.) and put in another one from my old Associated engine. Is it okay to do this as long as fuel flows through to the engine?

Chances are, if the threads fit then the needle should work, but you may have to retune. As far as I know, pretty much all the needle housings are the same basic shape. It's just the threads that you may have to worry about. Also check for air leaks just in case.

Well, I'm using the needle that was on the new housing, so yeah that's alright. There are definitely no air leaks, so it should be okay right? The hard part for me will be tuning it to factory settings because I guess it won't be the same with every kind of HSN.
