High reving

I got my revo 3.3 not long ago and i think my low speed adjuster is messed up. when i give it the gas it doesn't take off like it should. it just revs really high and starts out slow. i dont dare try and fix it cause I'm new to this and i dont want to break it. that is why I'm posting it here.

If the engine is revving up when you hit the throttle and its not going anywhere then the power from the engine isn't getting to the drivetrain, have a look at your clutch and slipper

most likely its your slipper clutch , if you dont know what that is wel here,

you see the spur gear? well one teh spur gear is a nut and when it is set too loose the clutch wont engage so it just spins freely , try to tighten it fully and loosen about a quarter turn , then try your revo i am sure it will work , if not check your spur gear to see if none of them are broken off or eatin' . let us knwo how it goes.

WHOA! So you went through the break in tanks already as in the DVD? At a minimal, I would do that prior to tuning for performance. Have you temped the engine? YOu also may have hosed the plug due to break in settings being rich.

yes i broke it in fine. and no i haven't really done anything to the settings except adjust the idle speed and leaned the high speed a little. I'm gunna ask the people at hobbytown about it and they will probably say the same thing."check the slipper clutch" if that doesn't work then i check the gears or i will probably be back with more questions.

i did put in a new glow plug cause i flooded one during break in. and no i did not temp my revo. I'm gunna be getting a temp gun soon though. i hope
