High Flow Filter

The filter that comes with the HPI Bullet is crap. The opening is the size of a straw..
I can’t find my calipers to properly measure the inlet on the carb.
Would anyone happen to know the size so I can purchase a high flow filter?
Or happen to know a better filter that fits?

Maybe you mean air filter. Motor Saver 2 stage filters have been the #1 choice here for many years.

Yes, sorry I did mean the air filter.
The stock air filter that came with the bullet is “water resistant”, but I think the design is pretty stupid and possibly part of the reason why the engine runs so hot, even w/ proper tuning.

Doesn't help that it's a single speed 4wd truck. It will want to run hot because you try and tune for good take off speed and good WOT running, but with only one speed, you have to run a bit rich because it will spend the majority of it's time at WOT.

Just my 2 cents from when I had an HPI Nitro MT.
