My LST hi/low gear selector seems to have failed. Right away the two metel half-moons fell out. The knob seems to over-travel. The truck was in new, never run condition when I bought it from my neighbor three weeks ago. It runs well but is stuck in low range--if i select hi the knob travels over the stops and the engine just boggs down and the truck doesn't move. My question is: The LST2 selector seems to be much better in design. Does anybody think or know if the two are interchangable? And yes, the truck runs like a scalded dog in low--it runs away from my Slayer so I am guessing 35+ mph. Perhaps it's in hi when it shows low? Thanks for the help!:\

hmmm... I don't think my LST2 will do 35 in low..... I have a feeling it's still in high...

I'm not positive, but when I was at my LHS they had the H/L selector and I think it said on the package LST/LST2 I know it was revised for the LST2 and is bigger/beefier...
I just realized... this post was back in August... what did you find out?

I never got a thread update so didn't know anyone replied. Turns out my tranny was in high gear. I just left it that way. Thanks for the reply!
