Ever played Concept Destruction? I have. It's a BLAST. It's about a bunch of concept cars fighting to get into production, but instead of full sized cars, they're all mini cardboard RC replicas.
Well, my favorite car from the game is HG Cat. According to my Dad, it looks very Ford Falcon esk, with a bit of 80s Camaro.
Anyways, while I figure stuff out for the "Unreliant," I'll build my own HG Cat. It's gonna be roughly the same size as the ones in the game, but with double the power.
I've actually built one of these in the past (shown in one of the pictures), but it wasn't quite right.
This new version is gonna be all hot glued together (like the old one), with old electronics from a Maisto RC Ford GT.
I'll be using my Switch for reference.
Updates when possible.

Looking pretty cool so far! And a really cool project. I did things like this when I was a kid. I really wish I would have hung onto some of my off the wall projects I came up with back then.

I'll be working on this some more here soon, but I have to do homeschool right now.
Update in the next few hours.

OK, so, I've been super busy today, so I haven't really been able to work on this today.
However, I did get part of the gearbox cut off... but in the process of shaving off some excess material with a box knife, it slipped and jabbed me in the thumb. Both of my hands were covered in blood, and now I have a 3-5mm cut in my thumb.
Good times.
The work (for the day) ended there.

Update!
I've had to take a pause on this the last few days, but I'm gonna start getting back into in.
Now, the gearbox I have is a bit too big, so I might, MIGHT, start working on a design that will work. I'm also thinking the AA battery box I have is a bit too big and heavy, so I might pick up a AAA box instead.

Ok, so, my silence on this project has been due to some other projects.
On a high note, my lawnmower is running.
But hopefully I'll be back on this (and the Unreliant) soon.
