Alum.. bulks are good but the right ones are better Gas 7075 IMO are the best you can buy.. I beat the hell out of my first maxx and nevered hurt them..

GA 7075

ok thanks guys i will get the a-arms and al lthe stuff first the the bulks can't get 2 much at once i am gonna go broke

does acncm make good bulk heads?? i found sum where to get front and back for like 49 also zandor how much are those bulk heads desn't show the price for me just says out of stock

When I bought mine I think I paid like 150$ for all 4 I do no they have come down in price.. but even then they pay for them selfs in no time..I went through
50$ in stock bulks and a nother 80 or so in cheap knock offs like the intergty and acncm bulks they suck.. they bend snap and IMO are a waste of money..

ok thanks zandor going to have to save for that also where can i get info on the mod to forward only mod or w/e it's called

the one on tower u put says for revo is there a difference between that one and this one?
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDUZ0&P=ML

also why is the UE one like 60 bucks compared 2 the other ones at 11 and 10
The one you listed is for a single speed not the forward only conversion..you want to keep the two speed but get rid of the reverse...and UE is IMO the top of the line when it comes to t maxx parts.

yea i think i am going to just get the traxxas one the ue one says sumthing about not being captable with the .15 i believe

Robinson Racing also makes a FOC, and it works for me! Comes in either steel or aluminum.

thanks rc probably better to get the alumnium/steel ones they will last longer right? i will look for them online

Depends on how much horsepower you are going to have. If its high horsepower, like me running a sirio .27r, then you run steel everywhere you can. Aluminum is light, and also strong, and i really dont have a lot of experience with it. I am running an aluminum top shaft and aluminum 1st and 2nd gear, so i will see how it turns out.

well i am running the old stock .15 but i may do that trade it for the 2.5

Hey Bro have you considered buying parts from ebay. I have bought almost all of my upgrades for my T-Maxx there and have saved a ton of money. I bought my truck there for 100 bucks it needed tires and a servo but came with a freshly rebuilt motor. My maxx is the older version like yours. Check it out before you decide to buy from somewhere else. I have a fairly Tuff Maxx and I bought 90 % of it on ebay just something you might want to check in to.

yea i have been looking at it but i tihnk i am going to get it at my lhs cause it's easier get it faster plus if i have problems installing anything they will help for free
