Let's see....
I was out running today and my clutch started acting up. Seemed like the clutch was slipping badly under full throttle, but it quit it after about 30 seconds.... so I figured it was a glitch... then it started dying if I would come to a stop. So, after starting it a couple of times and it dying again without throttle, I picked up the truck and started it. Whattya know, the wheels are spinning. I put her down and she died... guess I'll be tearing into it later on tonight. Gotta do some cleaning around the house so the wife dont get jealous of me playing with my toys....

Other issues have been:

transmission will not stay in low gear. The lock knob will be in the tab in the back but it just pops out after a couple of minutes. This really sucks b/c when it pops out the truck is in "neutral" and there is no strain on the engine and it likes to rev up... first happened during break in and really pissed me off.

The fuel tank's primer hasnt worked from day one.

Had an electrical issue with the connection to the rx power. Changed the plugs and that is ok.

It's been a fun truck and I love it. It friggin rocks when its running correctly.
Had it tuned out so nicely today. I was running about 233 degrees. Sounded good from idle to wot. Transistioned so nicely and had a good healthy stream of smoke. Which with 12% oil content is good....
I was having fun ripping through our parking lot and then getting out on the highway and trailing cars. Just letting her rip and turn those tires into pizza cutters....
I've rolled/flipped it a few times and just popped off turnbuckles from the ball connectors. Its a forgiving truck so I guess I have to forgive it for the crapola it's fixing to put me through.

The primer doesn't work well for me either so I quit using it, I had problems with the selector knob popping out as well but I just started making sure that it was deffinately in place right and it has since given me no more trouble. I think Losi was suppose to be sending a replacement clutch because the stock one has given some people problems.

Called Team Losi today and a new fuel tank and clutch springs are on the way. Said they've had probs with the clutches for sure. Over all I'm happy with their service. Thanks for letting me know the clutch problem was common.

Glad to hear you got through to Losi I know that some others had a hard time trying to contact them.

I ran across those threads also. If I recalled they had used email to try and contact them so I decided to try a land-line. Called the number listed on their website and the Losi dude was busy. The secretary took my number and He called me back at the store within thirty minutes. I'm hoping the parts are in tomorrow. I wanna play some more.

I love my LST. I wish more people wolud talk about theris. Howecver, my parts have not yet come in..... do you thindk bob at losi was just pulling my chain?

I love my LST as well. I replaced the stock clutches with aluminum ones, now it pulls wheelies no problem. The stock clutch shoes are really lightweight....I replaced them with a 3 shoe kit from Nova RC.

My parts did come in the other day. My wife just failed to let me know it....

Got a link for that kit? I would like to know where I could get it and go ahead and install it instead of fooling with stock setup.

yeah, it should. Mine was actually ordered for a savage 25. I ran the 3 shoe kit on my savage before I put it on my LST.

shifting

my LST isn't shifting.STILL!!! tried everything. flipping the springs, (the small springs inside the 2 speed) crimping the end if the springs, both ends, but, don't need to drill out the holes for the screws for the 2 speed cause i can pull them apart easily.so the holes are big enough, and yes i have adjusted the 2 speed screws out a few turns. and still no shifting. don't know why . really frustrating.
i scuffed up the clutch shoes and it shifted a few times and it ripps.but then is slowly startes shifting really late. and my slipper is tight. i called losi and they are sending me some 2 speed clutch shoes. i hope that helps.

muskie.

what about the fragile arms. any word on that stuff, buddy nuked 2 left front lowers and 1 left front upper at the track yesterday.
