ok i was breaking in my engine today, and it worked go for the first tank of gas and then.....i pulled the pull start and wow gas coming out of the hold where my air filter is... is this bad because it sure did not look good, thanks for any help

Nitro coming out of the top of the carb most likely is a sign of the engine being rich. It's not a harmful condition, but if there's that much spraying out of it you may flood the engine. I would lean the HSN just a little bit (1/8 turn) and keep trying it. You don't want to lean too much at this point or you could damage the engine. OH, and don't forget to keep the aircleaner on the carb while it's running....

haha

hey thanks, yeah i called the duratrax people and they told me to take of the pull starter when is said it didnt work and....bamthere is the metal band, so their sending me a new one

o about the air cleaner, my friend has a t-maxx and we made a cold air intake for me so i could see the gas through the tube, the air filter was on so no worries
