I read on some forums that if the weather is cold you need to adjust the high speed needle to compensate for the weather change. And some advised with a cold engine, use a hair dryer just to heat the engine just a little bit so it will start quickly. You may also want to check your throttle adjustment trim. It maybe too offset enough to close the throttle. Try increasing the throttle trim a little and see what happens. I'm sure more people here will help out as I found this forum to be full of knowledgeable rcnitro fanatics and I love this forum. Goodluck with your tmaxx 3.3. Can you post a photo of it?
Sure, my email address is [email protected]
you can also upload a photo from http://imageshack.us/ and just link the address of the photo so that other members can also see your rig.
Thanks.

Nitro engines tend to run rich when they are cold. As stated, a different heat-range plug may help, as a little more tuning. How's the engine run once it's warmed up? What's the outside temps been? If it's been chilly, it will take longer for the engine to warm up.
Try leaning it out a little and a little hotter plug I run LC4s with 20% nitro in my Savage X and ran them in my T-MAXX 3.3 before I sold it they both ran great. Also try sealing the engine it will eliminate a lot of variables and make tuning a lot easier.
