Help!!!

Hi i have a revo 3.3 and it dosnt run good at all so i thought someone could help me.I'm 13 yrs old and love this hobby but want to have fun. THANKS

It wont start and sometimes i could get it runnin but when i hit the gas hard it shuts off.and it has never gone into 2nd gear.

sounds like it may be running a little too rich.
Try this.
Set the HSN(high speed needle) to 4 turns out from closed
Set the LSN(low speed needle) Flush with the Slide valve.

If you have the manual for the Revo, read through it and become familiar with it. It has a lot of good info in there. If you don't have one, you can download one at from the Traxxas web-site. The fuel line does plug into the HSN on the carb. The LSN is on the opposite side, it is on the part that slides when you pull the throttle. Both are shown clearly in the manual diagrams.

If you look at the carb you will see the fuel line inlet. Above that will be the black needle and thats the HSN.
The LSN, If you look at the left side of the truck where the throttle servo is and looking at the side of the carb you will see the throttle linkage on the carb which is protected by a blue dust boot. You should see the small flat head needle there. Set that needle flush with the ring right on the outside of the needle.

Thanks liftedcj i did the 4 turns from closed on the hsn and starts now.but when i give it gas it still shuts off.

you have to set your lsn to flush, it is the screw on the slide.

Its runnin better than before but i havent got the lsn flush yet cuz i didnt have time yet but i am today
