Need some help on what nitro gas RC car to buy. I just want to ride around and drift around a few turns. If you could give me some help that would be great

HPI makes a real nice onroad/drift car.. in the Nitro RS4 Evo... IMO of course.

I think it would be great for beginners... it is a Ready to Run car. Just add nitro batteries and go for it.... and HPI is a great company.

i have a CEN CT5 onroad 1/10th. Nice Car, damn Durable imo, easy to work with. But i did have a bit of experience when i got it so i can't really say how Newb friendly it is, but it was my first and only 1/10th Nitro onroad.

i quite enjoy it, never used it for drifting yet. but i do have some Black PCVP to make drift tires with. maybe i ll do that sunday for shits and giggles.

thanks for the help

You could get an electric drift for 200 but not a nitro. The only nitro drifter I know of is the Hpi Rs4 3 but the car alone is like 300 new plus the 150 dollar kit. If you really want a drifter I would go with electric. Less hassle and cheaper.
Recommended brands are the Hpi, Yokomo, Or Tamyia. Check out the Yokomo's first they are the most recommended for drifting, they also make alot of really detailed electric bodys.

If you check ebay Traxxas has a few options. The Nitro Sport is like 260+Shipping. The Nitro Rustler is a little more. You could get a used Team Losi XXX-NT for like 150 and have extra for mods. Check that also.

I think the n 4-tec is under $200. And it has enough speed to keep you occupied for a while!

If you want an easy running RC onroad get electric...you CAN make them faster than nitro if you want to spend a lil more cash down th eroad...the TC4 or used TC3 would be awsome for drifting. if you want a good beginner nitro get the NTC3....it's like an onroad T-maxx that doesn't break LOL....meaning it's pretty much an industry standard and the parts support is unbelievable....I'm selling a used one I could make RTR if you werre interested...Jon2 is selling one as a roller that's mint.....and I'm sure you could find em on flea bay for a song and dance as well....
