I own a HPI super nitro and considering dropping a 21bb into it? Any thoughts/suggestions/comments?
Cost of converting?

thanks.

I am not too familiar with the supernitro by HPI but consider this: 1000's of man hours, and countless sleepless nights were spent by some of the smartest engineers on the planet to devise a car that would match the engine, handling, and driving characteristics. Millions of dollars were spent on R&D to make that car perfect before it was produced. By swapping the engine to a completely different displacemet, yu are essentially saying that you are smarter than the desginers of the car.
Point is - the engineers designed that car to have a small block engine. By changing that, you will change the entire setup of the car. IE: driveshafts will not support the power, the plastic will fles, or break, the gears may strip, ect....everything on that car was designed to be used with "X" powerplant.

Not sure how much it would really cost, but I'll throw this link at you. This is an artice from R/C NItro mag on their .21 SuperNitro RS4.

I just did some minor calulations in my head - and that author has about 2500.00 invested in that car, not including radio or other accessories

Are you thinking of the HPI Savage .21BB??? If so, that's only turning 30,000. I don't think it will be all that much faster. Maybe more torque.
