First Of All What Is The Factory Idle Screw Setting

And If That Dont Work Then I Need Help Troubleshooting My Carb. It Dont Seem To Be Sucking Any Gas To Get To The Engine.

Please Help Thanx

Set the carb opening to about the width of a credit card. Roughly 1/16th. After doing that, keep the air filter off, and spin the engine with your finger closing the carb throat. You will see the fuel come through the line. When it reaches the carb, take your finger off and it should start quickly, as long as there are no other problems. Put your air filter back on before you run it.
If it won't run right, get back to this thread and we'll try finding the problem.

If you don't think you are getting any fuel as it is, check for air leaks in the fuel line, and the gasket in the fuel tank cap.

It seems you figured it out while I was writing the reply

Ok another question why does the engine wanna die when i put on the brake?

LSN too rich or too lean. Does it bog down when you hit the gas? When you apply the brake does it die right away or does it sputter? Does the idle increase before it dies?

You need to adjust your idle with the trim all the way down. Once it's adjusted, make sure it doesn't move in any further when you hit the brake.

thanks you guys it's runs great....

is there a motor bigger and better than the 2.5 that will work in the revo?

O.S. makes a drop in .18. Sirio makes a .23. There is a Picco P2 (Ofna Max .21).

There are others but those are the 3 most popular. New Era makes a different engine mount for .21's and bigger. Traxxas is also releasing a .21 engine mount very soon and there is talk, I emphasize talk of them actually making a .21 engine. I guess we will see.

http://www.osengines.com/ (O.S. 18)
http://www.teamtrinity.com/ (Sirio)

http://www.traxxas.com/ (.21 engine mount)
http://www.neweramodels.com/ (.21 engine mount)

There is also a company making pullstart conversions for race .21's. I will look for that link. So you can send them your RB, Sirio, Rossi, OS, whichever you prefer and have them mod it with a pullstarter. The possibilities are really endless, it just depends on your budget.
