can some 1 please help i recently brought my first nitro rc truck and as I'm a newbie 2 nitro i am in need of knowledge
i got my new sport maxx and it was running all good untill i decided to change the fuel i was running 10% then switched to 16% (LHS recommended it) so before i changed i decided to have a good strip down and clean (new glo plug) (only took the head of the engine every thing else in bits), anyway every thing went back together nicely put my new fuel in started ok so i started with running in 1/2 throttle, stop, start it then cut out so i let it cool for five (fag break) tried to start it up again it really struggled an it started to chuck lots of nasty coloured fuel out of the muffler after a bit it started but sounded really ruff and still chucking fuel out. PLEASE ANY SUGGESTIONS ANYTHING CONSIDERED

What kind of truck and what king of engine is in it.

After removing the head there are a few things to look at. First, are the head bolts tight. They should be torqued down snug, not over tightened in a star pattern as not to warp the head. When you replaces the plug did you also replace the copper washer used to seal it to the head? Some engines use a thin shim in-between the head and the block. If so, did you remember to reinstall it when you put it back together? When you change fuel you will need to tune the engine. If you haven't, you will need to do so.

Removing the head isn't necessary for routine maintenance.

I would get a temp gun if you can afford one, which will help with tuning, it almost sounds as though you are flooding the engine. I would set all you needle's back to factory specs then start from there. Since you have removed the head, like eddy stated you should make sure you installed it properly. Good Luck!
