Hey all,

I have a Collari B3, it was running great until the slide carb jammed up. I took of the filter and it looked like some small dirt was getting in the engine, just a little bit though. So I've torn down the mill and everything looks ok inside, but the carb is still pretty sticky. It opens and closes all the way, but its really hard to move and isn't very smooth. I've cleaned the slide as best I can but its still not very good. I'm thinking I have to take out the slide to really get it nice and clean.

How exactly does one do that? Do you have to take out the low speed needle? I've never taken needles out before, anything I have to be careful of?

Thanks for any help.

You should only have to remove the idle stop screw and the slide should pop right out. You'll have to detach the boot from the carb body, but it's just rubber and should pop right off.

Oh ok, wow, completely forgot about the idle stop screw lol. Yeah I've already taken off the boot. Thanks Candyman.

Update...got the slide out, musta been something in where the idle screw hits the slide. I took out the screw, wiped some stuff off the slide, put it back together and its much smoother. Not perfect, but good.
