help with rc10 gt engine

Hi all,
I just got a rc10 gt, I have ran about 5 tanks of gas through. I'm having 2 prob. when i brake hard it stalls out, and the idle seems high, it wants to turn wheels. I have tried sentting the idle , but when I turn it down it stalls.

your low speed needle might be set too lean...

have ya done the pinch test?
