hi chaps i have a problem I'm have a 1/10 scale nitro rc kyosho subaru it is bran new I've set it all up to how the manual tells me but i just carnt get it started and its doing my head in can anyone PLEASE PLEASE help me.

assuming you have a good glow plug and charger. r u in cold wether if so try heating the head with a blow dryer or heat gun. also did u prime it if not put ur hand over the exaust andpull the cor 2-3 times and try again.

New engines are tough to start. raaazzzeee has given some sound advice. Note, new engines can chew up glo plugs while they break in, so do not be surprised if you need to replace the glo plug.

Is your car a Pureten alpha 2? If it is, I built one from the deagostini subscription, and it is a BITCH to start. I have now got to buy a new carb off ebay, as all the seals in the old one are nakered.
PS, try adjusting the fuel/Air mix. It helped me.

hey i have a pureten alpha gp2!

make sure that the idle setting isnt too low otherwise it wont start at all

take off the intake and put about 3 drops of fuel in, also but a blow dryer to the top of the head for about 20 seconds, then try starting, also check if your glow plug is working cuz break-in beats it down.
