I'm sure this is a stupid question...
how many nipples should be on my fuel tank....
i have one on my lid
one one the opposite side goin out...
and another one the lid side next to the motor goin straight down....
heres the problem...the third one doesn't have anything goin to it...its just a big hole in my tank...now i did have the truck apart over the winter but I'm prettty sure i didnt take another hose or anything off from there....doesn't the tank have to be sealed....i havent tried to start the truck yet
whats supposed to be there...another hose....a cap....I'm a little confused and i can't find a picture to show that part of the tank for comparison...any help is appreciated...thanks guys..

I believe the hole you are looking at is the fuel drain from the top of the tank, on the top of your tank under and around the cap area is a raise line of plastic leading to fuel drain hole.

Yes the tank does have to be sealed because pressure from the exhaust is needed to help push fuel into the carb. If i think what your explaining is correct, then you must be referring to the drain on the top of the tank that directs over flowed fuel straight down so that it does not leak all over the place, and no that nipple is not directly connected to the tank.

ill inspect further tomorrow...thank you for your insight...

ok man....you were right on the money....guess i just didn't look at it good enough when i took it apart...just got through running the truck and its doin great....sorry...I'm a noob...=(

I have owned mine for 2 1/2 years and have taken my truck apart numerous times, and am still learning stuff; thats why I ask these guys on the forum.:D
