help with Jato please

I want to get a nitro stadium truck and I see the new JATO that was released
but I heard that it was getting smoked by the Nitro Rustler?

It seriously shouldnt be getting smoked by the nitro rustler... Since the Jato has a 2 speed it should get up to speed faster... I dunno... I know that the Jato should handle overall better than the rustler, since the rustler isnt really a track racing truck...

That is good to know but now I would like to know if it could handle ruff terrain like
cut grass

LOL i don't know if thats considered ruff terrain, but I'm sure it would be able to.

Rough terrian is like rocks and stuff... grass is just a good landing for jumps...

It should easily go over grass I have an electric Rustler that will cruise across it with no problem and I have severly un even lawn lol which I would consider rough terrain

Another question of my is can you change the wheels and tires to Losi or Associated
or just the tires like I read in Xtreme R/C

i think you have to use either hpi or traxxas wheels to run 2.2 tires, which is the stadium truck standard... I believe this is because it reatains the hex drive from a nitro rustler, which is the same as hpi's.... unlike the pin drive of associated and losi.

I have driven the 2.5 rusty and it has killer speed and acceleration but the Jato should be faster. I have also hear that the Jato keeps the front end down better so that will mean faster take off. As for tires and wheels I have ran Losi wheels on the rear of an older Rustler by removing the hex and mounting the wheel onto the Axel pin. The front has bearings. They say you can use the older wheels on the Jato so should it should work.

from what i have read it accepts all 2.2 wheels from traxxas

Jato can also accept standard ROAR legal 2.2" rims and tires (sold separately). Just bolt them on!
