Well, I've spent 4 hours trying to get this mil tuned right. Just when I think its done, i.e. running well, it dies.

I am able to get either very good high end or low end, but not both. I can also obtain so-so high and low power simultaneously but not great on both. I have adjusted both the LSN and HSN through the full spectrum, i.e. rich to lean and back again.

The LSN is set at 1 7/8 turns out and seems to run perfectly at lower speeds. When I floor it from a dead stop with the HSN anywhere between 4.5 and 7 turns out, sometimes it sputters and dies. Now, at about 5.25 turns out it does not sputter and die, it just doesn't have the power it should. I have finely adjusted the HSN to both sides of 5.25 out, i.e. 5 to 5.5 but to no avail.

Does anybody know of any tricks for fine tuning this mil? All advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I know that this thread should have been answered long ago but if you are still having issues with the tuning thgese are the basic settings for all .21 and .27 Sirio engines after break-in;

Low End: 2-1/2
High End: 5-1/2
*Midrange: Flush then ½ turn out*

*tricky setting because flush is not exactly flush. Per Trinity's tech, flush starts at the base of the bevel.*

I hope that this helps if you have not found what you are looking for.

if i were u i wuld take it to ur LSH. it doesn't cost u that much, and its worth it. i can't tune motors worth crap (mabe thats y my .25 motor seized). but its kinda weird cuz i set it to what the nitro star 25 booklet says. w/e right now i have a hyper .21 turbo and I'm getting a collari .30.

hope u get it tuned right!
peace, mark

hey madd maxx...you do realize that weather is the primary reason you have to tune your mill, right?....if the temp changes enough it changes your air/fuel mixing even though the needles are set from the last itme you ran it....actually I think humidity has a greater effect on it......
