well I'm just looking to tune to a safe backyard thrasher tune whats ur input? also, is it worth upgrading the rustler trx2.5 or is it as Traxxas says and all matched and will lose performace with upgrades?
 
Go with my last suggestion with the LSN. Even if it's not full out you can still enjoy it.
You'll have to get the opinions of others who have the same car as far as upgrading goes.
 
ok thanks for the info man, ill mess with it tomorrow and post what i find out, also for future reference, when you break a motor in, what happens if you stop half way through say..3-4th tank? just curious, my freinds dog knocked over his fuel and it spilled all in the grass he had no more, so he had to stop his break in, no hobby store around..
 
No problem. You can do a break in over months, if you want. It all amounts to finishing the procedure before you start tuning it for all out performance. Rush it, and you shorten the life of the mill.
 
ok good to no, my freind was like I'm F'd now i didnt finish my break in!!! i was like I'm sure you can do it more then 1 time man...now when i did my break on i never did the bdm thing when it was cooling will this hurt it? my manuel never said to do that and i didnt no about it at the time
 
Not running the piston to BDC on the cool down will keep the sleeve from taking the proper set because it shrinks when it cools. If the piston is in the way it cools to the piston and no farther. At least that is as plain as I can explain it....
 
Like I said I over-simplified it but you got the jist of it.

Here it is is more technical speak that I posses: The primary objective of ABC break-in is to maintain the delicate top of the piston pinch zone while allowing the internal engine components to heat cycle with some minor smoothing and allignment (crankpin, wristpin, rod journals, etc.).
