Hey guys I'm new to the site, so hello to all, I'm having problems when I'm trying to start my tmaxx its in gear already, it will start right away if I take the wheels off the ground , and I can run it but if I brake and come to a stop for a second she stalls out, any ideas, broken clutch spring maybe?

Thanks guys I guess I wanted some reassurance lol, ill do it tonight and let ya know what I find, haven't torn my tmaxx apart yet I've got an A.E. RC10 that I've torn all sorts of apart and put back together, anything I should know on my tmaxx I've studied the blueprints and all doesn't look to hard just pull the engine

could also be a bad clutch bell bearing. but its something to do with that clutch. let us know!

Well took it apart and yes spring was bad and yes shoes were bad lol the bearing weren't so bad but I will be changing them anyways, it was way easier than I thought getting to the clutch though I'm thinking I may upgrade the whole thing while I'm at it anyways, any suggestions

I was also wondering how tight exactly should my slipper clutch be should I be able to spin it with much force?

on the maxx, normally they advise to tighten it all the way up, then back off 1/4 turn to 1/2 turn. I would go 1/2 turn and if it still slips tighten it up until it stops.

Ok thanks for the info on the slipper clutch I wasn't sure about that one, I figured I might as well go through. The whole clutch system while I'm in there, and on the intergy 3 shoe how well do u guys like that one? And obviously id have to change my flywheel, but would I need an new bell too, I am going to my local hobbyshop Monday, (hobbytown usa) wich is not local by any means have to travel an hour to get to it, but I suppose that's what I get for living in the boonies. I'm sure they will have it there they have a whole aray of tmaxx and traxxas stuff. If u could give me some first hand info on that 3 shoe it would be great, I have read up on it and it seems like a nice clutch, but I like to hear from people that have used parts before I buy
Thanks for all your help guys

Oh and beason I have to tell u your avitar pic cracks me up every time at first it took me a minute to realize what it actually was lol
